Kyle Jackson, 31, advertised his flat online and arranged viewings before requesting payment from prospective tenants. After receiving around £1,200, he refused to let them move in and failed to return their money. Jackson admitted nine counts of fraud and is due to be sentenced on March 12th.
A man who falsely advertised his flat for rent to scam numerous people out of thousands of pounds has pleaded guilty to nine counts of fraud.
But after receiving the money, he refused to let the tenants move in and failed to return their money. "There can be no justification for this and processes are now under way to see if the victims can receive compensation."
