Dallas Fire-Rescue crews were dispatched to the Lake Highlands neighborhood, where someone reported that they heard a man yelling for help, according to the department.A man who was rescued early Wednesday from an embankment in Dallas’ Lake Highlands neighborhood told authorities he was assaulted before being thrown into a creek, police said.
Shortly after 5:30 a.m., Dallas Fire-Rescue crews were dispatched to the 9300 block of Whistle Stop Place, just northeast of the intersection of Walnut Hill Lane and Skillman Street, where someone reported “they could hear a man yelling for help,” the department said in a news release.Emergency personnel found a man who was at the bottom of an embankment near Jackson Branch of White Rock Creek, the release stated.
