He claimed the man was “angry” because he believed he was wrongly charged a public holiday surcharge.A man has been charged after allegedly throwing plates at cafe staff in Capalaba.“After becoming verbally abusive with me, he resorted to violence,” the owner alleged.

The footage appears to show multiple patrons at the cafe moving towards the man, who then leaves the premises. The Capalaba man was charged with attempted common assault, common assault, wilful damage and public nuisance.
