The couple are anxious that the terror incident happened in broad daylight on their doorstep in an area where children play regularly and that the dog still hasn't been caught.
A man who was savaged by an XL bully while taking the bins out has shared his horror ordeal as cops continue to hunt for the beast.
John called emergency services and was rushed to Forth Valley Royal Hospital where medics said he will be scarred for life after the attack. "I was just taking the bins out like I do every week when it flew at me. It got up on its back legs and stood the full height of me before it latched on to my face."I put my arms up straight away to protect myself and then it slipped down and sunk it's teeth into my arm.
"It was such an aggressive, vicious creature. If it targets a child, or anyone more vulnerable than me it could be a very different situation."Clearly owners aren't taking it seriously enough if these incidents are still happening."A spokesperson for the force said: "Around 3.10pm on Sunday, 8 December, 2024, police received a report of a man being bitten by a dog in Toll Road, Kincardine. The man aged 39, was taken to hospital. Enquiries are ongoing.
