The M6 in Cheshire is closed Northbound following a serious crash involving five lorries near Knutsford.
A man has been seriously injured and a section of motorway was closed after an accident involving five lorries.
All vehicles have now been recovered and, police say, the incident has now been passed to National Highways. Cheshire Police's Superintendent Gareth Wrigley said: "I appreciate the disruption that this incident is likely to cause, and I want to reassure motorists that we are working hard to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.
