Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at around 9.30pm to reports of a man who has been attacked on Church Road, E12.
Metropolitan Police said in a statement:"At the scene a male, aged 20s, was found suffering from what are believed to be knife and gunshot wounds.
Police are trying to chase the victim's next of kin and a post-mortem will be scheduled in due course.It comes after three teenagers were taken to hospital after being stabbed within minutes of each other in the Waltham Forest area of northeast London earlier on Monday.
