No officers were injured during this incident
GLENDALE, AZ — Authorities are investigating a shooting involving Glendale police officers Wednesday afternoon.Officers were called to the area after multiple 911 calls regarding a person with a gun. A police spokesperson says the man was walking erratically and driving around.When officers got to the area they observed the vehicle in question and crossed paths with it.
At this time, officials say the police officers observed the man point a weapon at them. One officer fired their weapon multiple times striking the man. A second officer did not fire their weapon, police say.Officials have not released information about the weapon they say the man was carrying.Glendale PD says no officers are injured. The Surprise Police Department is handling the further investigation into the shooting.
