Wellings was cleared of manslaughter today but was convicted of assault and controlling and coercive behaviour. Police have released a video shared by Wellings on Facebook just one hour after he left the police station following a manslaughter charge. He can be seen in a car with sunglasses on as loud music blared in the background. In the clip, he said: 'I'm driving around with a bottle of Prosecco. 'I have been told off an hour ago on a manslaughter charge. It's all f****** s**t.' Police released harrowing images of Kiena with blood pouring from her head on July 11, 2022. In a recording of the 999 call, she tells the operator: 'Please, please there's blood everywhere. Please help me...quick.' Kiena continues: 'I really don't feel very well...I just need to sit down'. She can be heard reassuring her daughter as she explained to police she 'woke up in the hallway' while her baby was screaming. She added: 'I'm actually pouring with blood. I've just woken up. I was unconscious. 'It's absolutely pouring down my face, but I don't know what's happened. Well, I do know what's happened, but I don't know what's happened to the injury.' When officers arrived, they discovered Kiena's head was bleeding and the towel rail in the bathroom had been damaged. Wellings, who cried when he was arrested, had been detained just 11 days before Kiena took her own life after he brutally attacked her in front of their baby daughter Wellings seen crying in the back of the police van after being arrested on suspicion of assault on 11th July 2022 Blood was splattered in the hallway and on a window ledge from the violent attack. She left her nine-month-old daughter in the house along with a suicide note which said: 'The end. I fought hard, I fought long. I went through pain no one could imagine. 'I was murdered. Ryan Wellings killed me. He ruined every bit of strength I had left. I didn't deserve it. 'I hope my life saves another by police services acting faster. Don't let bullies live free.' She also apologised to her daughter for having to 'let you go' and said the world had 'turned their back' on her. Kiena said she hoped the baby would be 'kept away from the monster who is called her dad'. After leaving her baby and her suicide note at her friend's house, she travelled to a country lane and was later struck by a high-speed train. Kiena had been diagnosed with Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder, which caused increased impulsivity, low self-esteem and difficulty in relationships Wellings, who was previously convicted of battering his ex-girlfriend, exploited her condition in his abuse which eventually pushed Kiena to suicide He would accuse her of cheating on him, called her a 's**g', threw a stool at her and even told her to kill herself In her suicide note, Kiena said she hoped the baby would be 'kept away from the monster who is called her dad' The couple had been in an 'intense' abusive relationship for two years, the court heard. Kiena had been diagnosed with Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder, which caused increased impulsivity, low self-esteem and difficulty in relationships. Wellings, who was previously convicted of battering his ex-girlfriend, exploited her condition in his abuse which eventually pushed Kiena to suicide. He would accuse her of cheating on him, called her a 's**g', threw a stool at her and even told her to kill herself. On one occasion, he held Kiena's head underwater in the bath and said: 'Say goodbye to your baby'. He also said he would 'make her look like Katie Piper' by throwing acid in her face and threatened to take her teeth out with a drill
