Two men are on the run after a third’s face was slashed during a knife fight at a popular Perth shopping centre. The incident unfolded at Westfield Carousel in Cannington about 3.30pm on Friday and sent stores into lockdown.

A 20-year-old man is in Royal Perth Hospital with a slashed face, but police now say it is unclear how he received that wound. “It has now been ascertained there was a third male involved in the altercation who is believed to have been armed with a second knife,” police said in an updated statement late on Friday.
