Police in Northern Ireland are actively searching for two suspects following a serious assault in the Templemore Avenue area of East Belfast . The incident occurred around 2:30 am on Thursday, January 23rd, when two men were involved in an altercation. During the fight, a man in his 50s sustained a serious neck stab wound, requiring immediate hospital care. He remains in a serious but stable condition. A second man involved in the altercation received non-life-threatening injuries.
Upon responding to the scene, police, including officers from the Armed Response Vehicle (ARV) and Dog Unit, conducted an extensive search for the suspects, but they were not located. The PSNI has urged anyone with information, including witnesses, CCTV footage, or dash-cam recordings from the area, to come forward. The investigation is ongoing, and the Templemore Avenue area has fully reopened.
