The man in his 30s was rushed to hospital
Police have made an attempted murder arrest after a man was stabbed multiple times. Shortly after 4.30pm, Merseyside Police was called to Bedford Walk in Toxteth to a report a man in his 30s had been repeatedly stabbed inside a block of flats. Pictures of the scene taken by the ECHO show a cordon in place outside the flats in Bedford Walk as forensic enquiries were taking place.
'Thankfully, the victim’s injuries in this incident are not more serious, but we know all too well that when knives are picked up and used in this way, the consequences can be catastrophic. Based on our initial enquires, we believe the victim and the suspect were known to each other, and our investigation into this incident is progressing well.
