BREAKING: Man stabbed repeatedly in Oxford Street as armed police swoop in
Armed police were rushed to Oxford Street shortly after 7pm this evening following reports of a knife attack close to Oxford Circus station.One eyewitness told‘I was there when they pulled up. Two X5’s and a ambulance car followed by a helicopter and a ambulance. Terrible.’
In a statement the Metropolitan Police said: ‘Armed response officers responded to reports of a stabbing in Oxford Street at 7.17pm close to Oxford Circus.‘If you have any details around this incident please call 101, REF 6520/13thAUG.’
