A MAN has been accused of stabbing his service dog more than 100 times before dumping the pet's bloodied body in a bin.Jacob Bushkin, 29, was arrested on Thursday accused of stabbing his service dog Cub more than 100 timesThe dog had been specially trained to help treat symptoms associated with his bipolar disorder, according toBut Bushkin, 29, called relatives on Monday to tell them the four-year-old dog had died at his home in Scottsdale near Phoenix, Arizona, police say.
Family members found the animal's mutilated body in a bin and took it to a vet, according to detectives. The vet then called police and the Arizona Humane Society - who transported the body to Midwestern University in Glendale.There, experts carried out a necropsy - an autopsy for animals - and found the savaged pet had been stabbed more than 100 times.Officers acquired a search warrant and found evidence that the dog had been brutally murdered at his home, a police statement said.
