A group of masked offenders are on the run after allegedly stabbing a man and striking a woman during a home invasion in Sydney’s west.

NSW Police were called to a home on Railway St in Yennora about 2.50am on Wednesday with reports four home invaders dressed in masks and hooded jumpers forced their way into the residence while the occupants were asleep.

Police said the 52-year-old was then hit in the face by a bat as the 63-year-old quickly locked herself in a room.
