A 55-YEAR-old man admitted to strangling his longtime girlfriend and pushing her off a Carnival cruise ship balcony to her death.
Eric Duane Newman allegedly used both his hands to choke Tamara Tucker, 50, after they started arguing in their cabin in January 2018.Newman pleaded guilty to murdering his wife Tamara TuckerDuring the struggle, he is accused of shoving Tamara over the railing of their 13th floor balcony. Tamara died of blunt force trauma after plunging onto the 11th deck of the Carnival Elation cruise ship just before midnight on January 18.The ship was approximately 30 nautical miles off the coast from New Smyrna Beach, Florida, when Tamara died.
