CARBONDALE, Pa. — It's a sunny, bright day outside the Grohol's home in Carbondale. It's a drastic difference from theThe only evidence of that storm is left on Michael Grohol's body.The 85-year-old never heard the storms outside Monday night, but he sure felt them.
Michael's wife of 60 years, Donna, believes the strike of lightning came right through the bedroom window while he was sleeping in bed. The 85-year-old was then rushed to the hospital. Despite the marks left behind, Michael is otherwise fine.
