Police said the attack left the victim with 'painful injuries to his face'
Police have appealed for witnesses after a man suffered facial injuries in a street assault in Nottingham city centre.
Officers said the victim was walking along Milton Street when two men started talking to him but one became aggressive and punched him to the floor.Both men are described as black, of slim build and aged between 18 to 25. PC Abbie Osborne, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was a violent assault that left a young man shaken and with painful injuries to his face.
“We are currently investigating what happened in the moments before, during and after this incident and urge any witnesses to come forward.”
