A man suffered fractures to his eye sockets, cheek bones, nose and jaw following an alleged attack in Belfast city centre.A statement from the PSNI said: "Detectives in Belfast are appealing for information and witnesses following the report of a serious assault in the Castle Street area of the city centre on Thursday July 27."Detective Sergeant McCartan added: “We received a report on Tuesday August 1 that a man had been brutally assaulted on Thursday July 27 at about 11.
