A MAN caught swinging a Louis Vuitton belt around was later found to be carrying a lockback knife in another incident.
Jay Simpson, 20, appeared in Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday after admitting to carrying an offensive weapon on two occasions. In the early hours of September 25, 2022, officers were on patrol in Candelriggs, in the city centre, when an altercation came to their attention.The court heard he was found to be brandishing and swinging the designer belt around.On May 9, this year, officers were on patrol when they spotted Simpson cycling towards oncoming traffic.Officers noticed he was holding his hand at his waistband.The court heard this was a lockback knife with a 4.5-inch blade.
