A man in his 20s has been treated in hospital after being attacked by a group of armed and masked men in Belfast.
Police say the five men, armed with hammers and a machete, gained entry to the flat and assaulted a man inside.The man was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening at this time. A mobile phone belonging to the victim was also stolen during the incident.
"Our enquiries are ongoing and I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything, or who may have dashcam, CCTV or other footage, to contact us on 101, quoting reference 2322 of 10/10/23."
