A man threatened terrified staff with a weapon before stealing jewellery in a violent robbery. Officers were called to reports of the incident at the premises on Brackley Street, Farnworth on March 9.
The man left with multiple pieces of jewellery from the store, but the value of the items he made off with has not been confirmed. The robbery was reported at around 3.45pm.READ MORE: Join the FREE Manchester Evening News WhatsApp community The force is also asking anyone who has dashcam, CCTV, or mobile footage from the day to report it to them immediately.
Detective Constable Rowley from GMP Bolton division said: “We understand this image isn’t the best quality, and does not show a face, but I would urge anyone who may have been in the area at the time, or who may have seen this individual and recognise him, to please come forward.Information can be shared by calling police on 0161 856 5757 quoting log 2002 of 9/3/23. Alternatively, information can be shared anonymously by called the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
