Man United star Bruno Fernandes has won the Premier League's Goal of the Month award for September.
Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has become just the second player in Premier League history to win the division's Goal of the Month award for a third time.
It was a sweet strike to light up what was, on the whole, a dull and drab affair, securing United a much-needed three points. Fernandes' effort was crowned the winner in the fan-voted award, pipping the likes of Arsenal's Leandro Trossard and teammate Hannibal Mejbri to the gong.READ MORE: Donny van de Beek verdict sums up his sorry United situation
As a result of scooping September's Premier League Goal of the Month award, Fernandes has followed in the footsteps of former England international Andros Townsend, who joined Luton Town earlier this week, in becoming just the second player in the history of the Premier League to win the gong for a third time. Townsend completed his hat-trick of award wins in December 2021.
