Manchester United injury news as Scott McTominay addresses recent setback after brief Burnley appearance
Scott McTominay hopes to be 'back on the pitch very soon' after suffering an injury in the latter stages of Manchester United's 1-1 draw with Burnley on Saturday.
McTominay missed two matches earlier this month with another knock picked up against Chelsea, where he once more came on from the bench. Having been a regular under Erik ten Hag his role has diminished in recent months.READ MORE: Ten Hag is changing his approach before and after United's matches However, he is an immediate doubt for United's next game away to Crystal Palace after confirming his injury. "I slipped & fell awkward on my knee similar to against Chelsea", he wrote on Instagram.
Ten Hag said after the draw to Burnley: "We have to assess with the doctors. The diagnosis I don't know at this moment."
