Man Utd are likely to lose Dean Henderson before the transfer window closes next week and Altay Bayindir has emerged as a potential target to replace him.
Manchester United are carrying out medical checks on Altay Bayindir ahead of formalising interest in signing the Turkish goalkeeper from Fenerbahce.
United have run the rule over a number of goalkeepers this summer, in addition to the £47million deal for new No. 1 Andre Onana, who was joined from Inter Milan, and Bayindir has been on the shortlist. His departure could have come earlier, but it has been complicated by a calf injury that has ruled Tom Heaton out of the opening weeks of the season, with Henderson among the substitutes for United's first two Premier League games of the campaign.
