Manchester United injury news as Luke Shaw setback leaves Erik ten Hag no choice in the transfer market
Luke Shaw's injury hell continues for Manchester United. It is already over seven months since his last Premier League appearance, and he is now closing in on an entire year since he last played back-to-back full matches for the club. Unfortunately for Shaw, who has been out with injury for large periods in two of the last three seasons now, it continues a negative trend. Despite debuting for Southampton as a teenager in 2012, he is yet to play over 2,000 league minutes in consecutive years.
Manchester United suffer new Luke Shaw setback Redknapp was not the first Sky pundit to make a baseless claim about United Given that Shaw being available is now the exception rather than the rule , it is only understandable that the club are being linked with new players in the position. It is one reason why Under-18 starlet Harry Amass is attracting so much attention. The natural left-back was taken on pre-season with Erik ten Hag over the summer and has been expected to make the transition into a fully-fledged first-team option.
