Amrabat has endured a torrid spell at Manchester United, having cost the club £8.5m for a year's worth of service.
Manchester United currently have a plethora of players out on loan, with some perhaps having already played their final game for the club.
One of the most questionable is Fiorentina loanee Sofyan Amrabat, who has barely played 45 minutes in the Premier League since Christmas. Ten Hag vehemently chased the Moroccan last summer and managed to get a deal over the line on deadline day.READ MORE: Bruno Fernandes gives update on his Manchester United future
According to Tutto Mercato, United will refrain from triggering his £21m buy-out clause, but Amrabat also does not wish to return to Fiorentina, who have been irked by a drop in his value amid his drab loan spell. United joined Villa and Manchester City in voting against the new measures at this week’s Premier League meeting while Chelsea abstained. New finance guidance is being drawn up after complaints that the current regulations inhibit other clubs to make up the gap to the top six.
