Manchester United claimed their first win of pre-season with a 2-0 victory against Scottish Premiership side Rangers at Murrayfield, thanks to goals from Amad and Joe Hugill.
United were playing in the home of Scottish rugby for the second summer in a row with Rangers' Ibrox home undergoing redevelopment and it proved a comfortable afternoon, with £58.9m new boy Leny Yoro the star attraction. The teenager produced a stylish first-half performance. Amad was the star of the show in the first half, taking his goal superbly, while Mason Mount and Jadon Sancho also looked bright.
