A swathe of Manchester United players have shown their support for Ruud van Nistelrooy, who left the club on Monday following an unbeaten four-game run as interim boss. The Dutchman, who ended his tenure with a 3-0 win over Leicester City on Sunday, had outlined his desire to stay on as an assistant under new head coach Ruben Amorim .
