Man United defender Lisandro Martinez has been forced to withdraw from the Argentina squad due to injury.
After receiving the call-up and flying all the way to Argentina to meet up with the squad, he has been sent back to Manchester so the club can assess the extent. “We didn’t expect the case of Lisandro. We saw that he had suffered a blow to his back, but apparently, he had no problem, just pain.The setback couldn’t have happened at a worse time for the central defender, with Ruben Amorim coming in to get a good look at his new squad.
