Liverpool transfer target Andre Trindade will lock horns with three former Man United players in the Copa Libertadores final
Liverpool target Andre Trindade will compete in the Copa Libertadores final on Saturday as his current club, Fluminense, look to be crowned champions of South America.

Andre would then score in a 5-1 aggregate win over Club Olimpia in the quarter-finals at the end of the month to end any slim possibility of a summer transfer once and for all.
"It ended up passing and arriving in the middle of the year, we were still in the round of 16 of the Copa Libertadores. It was a very difficult decision to make. I think if I had accepted this proposal, I don't know if I would have felt 100% comfortable because I had already agreed with Diniz. “So today, regardless of whether our team advanced to the quarter-finals, semis, now the final or not, I was sure that I made the right choice. We are in the final now, we will do everything and I will give my life to win this title.”
But as Andre prepares to ‘give his life’ to win the Copa Libertadores, he will first have to get the better of three former Liverpool rivals.
