brought in a forward named Bebe from Vitoria Guimaraes SC in a deal worth a reported fee of £7.2 million. After spending time on loan at the likes of Besiktas, Rio Ave and Pacos de Ferreira, Bebe was sold to Benfica in 2014., Bebe went on to play for the likes of Cordoba, Rayo Vallecano, Eibar and Real Zaragoza before joining Racing Ferrol this year.He said: "It wasn't that , I just know what life is like and I think anyone would have the same thought as me.
"I could help my family and friends in things they couldn't do. I do not regret anything. It was a very good decision from me and my agent. If I had the mentality then that I have today, I would definitely still be there. I would be in a team like that. "But I had a different childhood from the others, and the attitudes and thoughts I had were different. That did not help me at all, not that I regret it. But now I would tell my younger self to train more, to be more concentrated, to be more professional."In total, Bebe has so far made 362 club appearances, scoring 55 goals. On the international stage, the 34-year-old has been capped 24 times by Cape Verde, scoring six goals in the process.
