Liverpool had a goal controversially ruled out for offside during their pulsating game with Tottenham.
Manchester United great Gary Neville is demanding for an automated system to be installed for offside decisions, after VAR made a huge error in the pulsating game between Tottenham and Liverpool.
Liverpool were denied a would-be opener when Luis Diaz scored - only for VAR to intervene in quickfire time and rule out that strike. As replays and an apology from PGMOL have confirmed, that controversial decision was made in error and, naturally, left those with Liverpool connections - including manager Jurgen Klopp - seething.ALSO READ: United player ratings as Casemiro and Rashford struggle
Analysing the decision on his X profile, Neville said: "Goal-line technology and offside have been the two pillars of accuracy with VAR. I've lost some confidence in the last month on offsides and this today erodes it further. Bring in the automated system straight away."
