Two more women, Rayssa de Freitas and Ingrid Lana, have also made accusations of abuse against the Brazil international.Man Utd’s Antony has been placed on a mutually agreed leave of absence that United chief executive Richard Arnold has held a huge meeting with staff at the club over both Greenwood and Antony among other topics.
The staff meeting was held on Monday and employees submitted a series of anonymous questions for Arnold to answer over how the club handled the issues surrounding both players. The Athletic report Arnold was asked if he could promise staff that Greenwood would not return to United’s first team and he replied: ‘There’s no expectation of Mason playing for Manchester United.’
