Fabrizio Romano has given an update over Manchester United's stance on selling Mason Mount amid interest from Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa and Newcastle.
"Mount’s also only focused on Man United after unlucky first season and ready to do his best under Erik ten Hag this season.Prior to the update from Romano, Mount had been linked with three Premier League clubs as United reportedly looked to sell MountHe won the Champions League with the London club and made 279 appearances, scoring 58 goals and contributing 53 assists.
Prior to moving to the Manchester club, Mount missed 40 matches for Chelsea or Derby County, who he joined on loan for the 2018/19 season.Mason Mount featured in Manchester United's first pre season game against Rosenborg on July 15. Speaking after his transfer to United was announced, Mount said: "Manchester United will provide an exciting new challenge for the next phase of my career.
