However, they will be eager to get off to a good start after losing each of their last three European openers. As far as the back-four is concerned, manager Erik ten Hag is still light on full-back options, meaning Noussair Mazraoui and Diogo Dalot are likely to continue in the right-back and left-back berths respectively. The latter produced his best performance of the season thus far on Saturday.
Ten Hag has options to consider in midfield, but the importance of making a winning start to this Europa League campaign cannot be understated, meaning he could deploy what is considered as his strongest midfield, meaning Kobbie Mainoo and Bruno Fernandes could join Ugarte in the engine room.
