Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag addresses Mason Greenwood situation for first time since February
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag said it is not up to him whether Mason Greenwood returns to the club.
Shortly after the GMP announcement, United confirmed that the club would conduct an internal investigation to 'determine next steps'. During this time, Greenwood has not trained with the first team or been available to play.In an interview with The Times, Ten Hag was asked about Greenwood's situation as a follow-up to an answer the manager gave to a previous question, when he stated he needed another player in his squad capable of easing the goal-scoring burden on Marcus Rashford.
After charges against him were dropped, Greenwood released the following statement: "I am relieved that this matter is now over and I would like to thank my family, loved ones and friends for their support. There will be no further comment at this time."
