A £10,000 reward is on offer for information leading to the arrest of Thomas Dures
One year on from the murder of Lydiate teenager Matthew Daulby, a man wanted in connection with his death remains on the . Matthew, 19, was stabbed in the chest and hit with a rock during a mass brawl in Ormskirk last year. The teenager was one of ten men who travelled from Maghull to Ormskirk before the fight broke out, shortly after midnight on July 29.
Two were found not guilty, but a jury was unable to reach a verdict with regards to the other two, and another trial was arranged for October 2024, Lancs Live reports. Another man wanted in connection with Matthew's death is Thomas Dures, who was named by Lancashire Police in August last year. He remains on the run, with a £10,000 reward on offer for information leading to his arrest. Information must be provided directly to Crimestoppers for the reward to be claimed.
