A man who threw eggs at King Charles while he was conducting a royal visit has been found guilty.
Patrick Thelwell was arrested after throwing at least five eggs at the King while visiting the city of York.
The 23-year-old student pleaded not guilty, arguing the act was in self-defence against “the violence carried out by the British state.”
