Josh Greally threw the object from a fenced-off construction workers' area while the Reform UK leader was in an open-top bus in Barnsley

Josh Greally, 28, was arrested in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, on 11 June after throwing objects at the Reform UK leader, who was standing on the top deck of an open-top bus as it passed through the town. South Yorkshire Police said Greally was charged with using threatening, abusive, insulting words and behaviour with intent to cause fear or provoke unlawful violence.Neither of the objects hit the politician, however Greally pleaded guilty to a public order offence at Barnsley Magistrates’ Court in June.
