ILOILO City — Police operatives seized around P1.02 million worth of shabu during an intelligence-driven operation on Wednesday.
The operation led to the arrest of a high-value target identified only as 'Bogs,' 22, and a resident of Barangay Bakhaw in the Man durriao district.The operation, carried out by the Iloilo City Drug Enforcement Unit and Iloilo City Police Station 10, resulted in the confiscation of around 150 grams of suspected shabu.Authorities apprehended the suspect after he handed over a sachet of shabu to an undercover officer in exchange for P12,000.
In a related development on Tuesday, the police conducted two separate antidrug operations in Tigbauan, Iloilo, resulting in the arrest of three suspects and the seizure of nearly P2 million worth of illegal drugs.The first operation in Barangay Bagumbayan led to the arrest of a 35-year-old resident of Barangay Purok 4, Poblacion. Police confiscated approximately 180 grams of suspected shabu valued at P1.2 million.
