This year’s parade took on a Buzzin to be Queer theme, taking inspiration from the spirit of the worker bee
before, you'll know that a little bit of rain and blustery conditions are no deterrent to the joyous and celebratory parade.
Dating back 150 years to the industrial revolution, the bee has become a powerful representation of Mancunians' hard work ethic and the bustling energy that defines the city as a hive of activity. As usual, this year’s parade saw drag artists, community groups and allies take part, with the likes of Danny Beard, Tia Kofi, Su Pollard, DJ Paulette, Russell T Davies and Charity Shop Sue amongst some of the famous faces taking part.
