Manchester United have an undroppable for the derby this weekend and Bruno Fernandes is the key to getting him into the team

Fernandes does not need to drop out of the starting XI entirely though to allow Eriksen a place in the team. If we cast our minds back to the team which beat City earlier this year, we can see how Erik ten Hag managed to deploy both midfielders in his XI. Of course, Fred has since moved on but his duties could be replicated by either Scott McTominay or Sofyan Amrabat. By replicating this approach, United will not only fix the issue of finding room for Eriksen in the XI but also experiment with an alternative to the current winger situation.
