Lisandro Martinez is due to be out for around two months after suffering a setback in his recovery from a foot injury.
Erik ten Hag admits that Manchester United discovered a "problem" with Lisandro Martinez's recovery from a metatarsal fracture.
Having started in the defeats to Brighton and Bayern Munich earlier this month, Martinez is now expected to be sidelined for around two months. "He will add to the team, he's a really strong contributor to our levels and if already one player drops a level, then the team performance levels will be lower."
