The funeral of former Manchester United legend Denis Law will be held at Manchester Cathedral on Tuesday, with a procession passing by Old Trafford to allow fans to pay their respects. The 'King of the Stretford End' passed away last month at the age of 84, leaving behind a legacy as one of the club's greatest players.
Denis Law's funeral will be held at Manchester Cathedral on Tuesday afternoon, with a procession passing by Old Trafford , allowing Manchester United fans to pay their final respects to the legendary club icon. Law, who passed away aged 84 last month, was known as the 'King of the Stretford End' after scoring 237 goals in 404 appearances for United, earning him two statues at the club. The hearse will arrive at Old Trafford from Chester Road side at 1.
10pm and drive down Sir Matt Busby Way, briefly stopping by the Holy Trinity statue before departing for the cathedral at 1.20pm from the Hotel Football end. Hundreds of fans are expected to line the route to pay tribute to Law
