Harry Maguire was sidelined for the last three weeks of last season for Man United due to a muscle injury.
Harry Maguire conducted double training sessions with Manchester United medical staff in Portugal before his return for pre-season training.
The injury caused the 31-year-old to miss out on a place in Gareth Southgate's England squad for the European Championship but it is understood Maguire is likely to be fit enough to return from a two-and-a-half month absence in United's friendly against Rosenborg next Monday. Maguire participated in doubles sessions at The Campus base in Portugal using a GPS tracking service that was overseen by United fitness coach Paolo Gaudino. United academy defender Will Fish also participated in the sessions.
