Manchester United's striker issues have been evident for some time now. Last January Wout Weghorst was signed to fill the gap in the forward line following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo a couple of months prior.
Rasmus Hojlund has joined and has shown promise but he still awaits his first Premier League goal. "The failings of the football department and recruitment is just absolutely incredible. They’re human beings at the end of the day and no one wants to go on the pitch, play badly and not achieve their standards. Nobody wants to be injured. On Saturday, Hojlund twice held his hamstring and was eventually substituted with ten minutes remaining. It is unclear how bad the Dane's injury is but if he has pulled the muscle there is a real possibility he could miss the trip to Goodison Park.
