A number of players have been released by Man United but the club are in discussions to renew some players' contracts.
Defender Evans, 36, and goalkeeper Heaton, 38, are out of contract on Monday and United remain willing to retain the academy duo.
The Northern Ireland international was re-signed as a back-up defender but United's depleted defence led to Evans starting twice against Liverpool and City, as well as in the home defeat to Arsenal. Heaton has spent three years back at United and has played three times in the Champions League group stage and League Cup. The former England international was drafted into Gareth Southgate's squad for the European Championship as a training goalkeeper earlier this month, supporting coach Martyn Margetson in working alongside Jordan Pickford, Aaron Ramsdale and former Red Dean Henderson.
