A supercomputer has predicted that Manchester United will finish 13th in the Premier League, their lowest ever finish in the competition.
Manchester United will suffer their worst-ever Premier League finish, according to a supercomputer. Ruben Amorim 's side were beaten 3-0 by Bournemouth on Sunday, inflicting their SEVENTH top-flight defeat of the season. In fact, United sit 13th in the table on just 22 points from their 17 matches, nine points behind fourth-place Nottingham Forest and a staggering 17 adrift of leaders Liverpool heading into Christmas.
Goals from Dean Huijsen, Justin Kluivert and Antoine Semenyo condemned United to a third league defeat in four and it hasn't been the start to life in Manchester Amorim would have been hoping for. The Portuguese head coach replaced Erik ten Hag as their new permanent boss last month and has won just four of his first nine matches. And now, a supercomputer - set up by Skin Lords - has predicted that Amorim's appointment will be unable to prevent United from finishing in the bottom half for the first time in Premier League history. The supercomputer has tipped the Reds to finish 13th on 51 points - a tally that would represent their lowest since 1990. United finished in their lowest-ever Premier League position of eighth under Ten Hag last season, but the supercomputer believes that the Reds will be FIVE places worse off at the end of the 2024/25 campaign. They think that United will finish 25 points off the top four and 40 behind winners Liverpool. Only West Ham (14th), Everton (15th), Crystal Palace (16th), Wolves (17th), Leicester (18th), Ipswich (19th) and Southampton (20th) have been predicted to finish behind United in the Premier League table. Brighton (12th), Brentford (11th), Fulham (10th), Tottenham (9th), Aston Villa (8th) and Bournemouth (7th) are tipped to finish adrift of the top six, with Nottingham Forest (6th), Newcastle (5th), Manchester City (4th), Chelsea (3rd), Arsenal (2nd) and Liverpool (1st) occupying them places at the end of the seaso
