Manchester United's January transfer window is already buzzing with rumours despite only being three days in. The team's poor performance has fuelled speculation about both incomings and outgoings.
Manchester United's January transfer window has been full of surprise rumours already and we're only on day three. Woeful results on the pitch mean Ruben Amorim's hopes of adding to his squad have increased with it clear the current side needs improving. Monday's defeat to Newcastle United has left United 14th in the Premier League table and a long way off of qualifying for Europe next season. So far this window, Marcus Rashford's potential exit has continued to dominate the headlines.
However, despite seemingly out of Amorim's plans, there has been more speculation surrounding outgoings but United have been tipped to try and bring in a number of players over the course of the next month. As well as Viktor Gyokeres, 'At the moment he is ill, he is not training. I think he is going to be out this week. We will see.' Highly-rated Man United defender Harry Amass has been linked with a move to Leicester City, reuniting with Ruud van Nistelrooy. A move to the Championship has long been expected but Leicester are understood to have registered an interest. However, the Foxes currently have Odsonne Edouard and Facundo Buonanotte on loan meaning a temporary move for Amass is not possible unless one of them deals are terminated. Liverpool manager Arne Slot could include defenders Conor Bradley and Ibrahima Konate in his plans for Sunday's Premier League clash with It's not exactly the news United will want to hear. The pair have been sidelined since the 2-0 win over Real Madrid in November but they could return this weekend. 'Joe is, of course, not in a good place when it comes to his injury,' said Slot, speaking to the media on Friday morning. 'He is out for a few weeks, that's for sure. 'Conor and Ibou will train with us today for the first time. So, curious and interested to see where they exactly are, of course
