The Mandaluyong City local government has been awarded its 2nd ISO: 9001-2015 Quality Management System (QMS) certification on Monday, Jan. 16, for excellence in providing quality public service amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

ISO is an independent, non-governmental, international organization that develops standards to ensure the quality, safety, and efficiency of products, services, and systems. According to Bernardino, the city has passed NQA’s first surveillance audit which was held last Dec. 2. The agency, he said, plans to hold its second surveillance by October.
